Before Your First Class |

You don't need much for yoga, but there are a few things you should know before you come to class. |
| Clothing: | |||||||||
It is best to wear comfortable clothing in which you can move freely. Stretchy workout clothes are great, or a t-shirt and shorts. Ashtanga and Vinyasa classes can be quite vigorous, so be prepared to sweat! Yoga is practiced in bare feet. |

| Yoga mats: | |||||||||
| If you have your own yoga mat, bring it along. Otherwise, feel free to use one of ours. Yoga mats are also available for purchase at the studio. | |||||||||
| Health & Safety: | |||||||||
Before your first class, you will be asked to sign a waiver of liability. You might want to arrive a few minutes early to complete your registration. Please be sure to let your instructor know of any illnesses, injuries,
or conditions. |
| Eating: |
You may want to avoid eating a large meal before coming to class as twisting and bending can be uncomfortable with a full stomach. |
